Start north, retracing my steps coming south a month ago.
Make the hop from somewhere in the northern Exumas over to Cape Eleuthera.
Sit out an approaching cold front at the marina at Cape Eleuthera...and do a bunch of laundry (and take a WHOLE lot of showers) while I'm waiting.
Mosey up the island of Eleuthera, with likely stops at Government Harbour and Spanish Wells, before heading behind the -- GASP! -- Devil's Backbone and into the Harbour Island area. These dates are hugely variable...I'm just kinda wingin' it.
The path of totality runs from the Pacific coast of Mexico, northeast across that country and then the Mississippi River Valley, the Midwest, western and northern New York, far northern New England and into Canada.
